About Us

St. Francis Xavier JNS is a co-educational junior school with nearly 400 pupils enrolled for the academic year 2020-2021. We have 31 teachers on staff this year. Our school sits in the heart of the established community of Roselawn. Our school ethos is Catholic and we are under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin.

The teaching staff comprises of a Principal, Deputy Principal, one Assistant Principal, nineteen mainstream class teachers and nine Special Education teachers. We have eight full time SNAs, our secretary Paula and caretaker Julian. This year we have four Junior Infant classes, four Senior Infant classes, four First classes, an ASD class and four Second Classes.

Our vision is that children and staff work together to realise their full potential in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. We hope to provide the foundations for lifelong learning and for the children to become respectful, active members of society.
